The website Túrist reports that Tómas Ingason has resigned as CEO of WOW air business division. Tómas took over the job at the beginning of the year but has now resigned. The news have been confirmed by Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, information officer of WOW air.
Thomas is an industrial engineer and graduated with a master’s degree in logistics from Massachusetts University of Technology. He left as director of Icelandair‘s revenue control where he had worked from 2006 to 2010. He has also worked with Arion Bank.
Tómas previously worked at WOW for a few months in 2014, but was suspended.
Asked who takes over the Tómas position, Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir states that the division of sales and marketing is now under the control of Skúla Mogensen the CEO of WOW air.
