Radisson Blu® 1919 Hotel, Reykjavik in Iceland came away from the Luxury Travel Guide Awards with the prize for Luxury Boutique Hotel of the Year – and this year is the third consecutive time we’ve won the award.
The Luxury Travel Guide Awards represent the pinnacle of hospitality achievement across Europe, championing the best in their respective fields. So, to come out on top is truly an achievement we can be proud of. Even more special is the fact that this year has seen an unprecedented number of shortlisted companies, providing strong competition in every category.
All the winners are subject to the same rigorous assessment criteria, making sure that only the most deserving firms and individuals go home with one of the guide’s prestigious awards. Winning also means featuring in the Luxury Travel Guide, which is then distributed to more than 500,000 industry professionals and luxury travelers. It’s a great way to get our hotel noticed by new guests.
Just because we’ve now been named best Luxury Boutique Hotel of the Year in Europe for the last three years running doesn’t mean we’re not still excited to be recognized for our high-quality guest experience. If anything, it shows the consistency with which we make every moment matter for our guests.
