Radisson Hospitality AB, publicly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Sweden and part of Radisson Hotel Group, is proud to announce the signing of the Radisson RED Aarhus in Denmark.

Radisson RED – the upscale, select-service brand from the Radisson Hotel Group, which presents a playful twist on conventional hotel stays – is excited to make its Scandinavian debut in Denmark’s second largest city, Aarhus.

Aarhus is a trading hotspot and business hub that’s home to a range of major global organizations – as well as the country’s largest container harbor. Arhus is also fast-becoming a popular leisure destination with a focus on its many major attractions, including the most-visited museum in Denmark.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Radisson Hotel Group, mentioned: “Radisson RED is bold, beautiful and pushes the boundaries of the traditional hospitality experience, and we couldn’t have hoped of a better place to add a new RED, than Denmark – the birthplace of Radisson Blu, our leading brand. With Radisson Collection, Park Inn by Radisson, several Radisson Blu and now a Radisson RED, we are showcasing our full brandscape in Denmark. We are signaling our commitment to Scandinavia, and solidify our leading position as the largest international hotel player.”

Due to arrive in Q3-2019, Radisson RED Aarhus will feature 78 guestrooms, small, but big on comfort. It will offer a restaurant, a gym, and a meaningful and ample space for Meetings & Events.

A representative of Rådhusgården Århus ApS, the hotel’s owner, Niels Albertsen, said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Radisson Hotel Group, the original international hotel company with Scandinavian roots, to bring its newest, successful and dynamic Radisson RED brand to the city of Aarhus. Our guests can look forward for something truly different in the crowded hospitality space.”

Located at the town square in the city center, the hotel is within walking distance of the main retail streets and leisure areas – as well as the financial and business district. Aarhus’ main railway station is within walking distance of the hotel, helping guests with easy road access to and from the airport (approximately 40km away) and other tourist attractions.
