Michelin 2018: Denmark Awarded 31 Stars

Yet again the Michelin Guide Nordic Countries covers Denmark in stardust. 31 stars in total have been awarded to 26 restaurants.

New to the starry sky is Jordnær in Copenhagen, and MeMu in Vejle.

Kadeau in Copenhagen also has reason to celebrate, as it has been awarded a second star.

2018 marks even more Michelin stars and Michelin-starred restaurants for Denmark than the previous year, despite noma reopening with a clean state (that René Redzepi loves a challenge), and Den Røde Cottage closing its doors (reopening in March 2018).

In addition to the prestigious stars, Copenhagen has been awarded 2 new Bib Gourmands, given to PMYand Musling Bistro for offering excellent value for money. See the list of Bib Gourmands.

Congratulations to the recipients for all their hard work and innovative gastronomical treats. We are proud to have you fly the flag for the very best in Nordic cuisine.
