Linköping gets a new hotel chain when Priceless today changes hotel chain and name.The new name becomes Clarion Collection Hotel Slottsparken and becomes part of Clarion Hotel.
It was in December last year that Nordic Choice Hotels bought three hotels in Linköping. One of these was Priceless at Storgatan. Now it is time for the hotel’s next change through new name and new chain affiliation.
– This is Linkoping’s most popular hotel. We go ahead and give it a new name and a new identity that we are convinced that the guests will receive good and love at least as much as before. With the proximity to the castle and the park, it was also clear what the name would be, says Nordic Choice Hotels founder Petter A Stordalen.
Clarion Collection Hotel Slottsparken will also be part of Clarion Hotel on June 4th. Clarion Hotel has 74 full service hotels in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Latvia and has a turnover of SEK 4 billion. Eight years in a row, the chain has also been named Sweden’s best hotel chain through the Travel News prestigious Grand Travel Award.
“I am extremely pleased that we now have the name and concept ready for the hotel. Clarion Hotel and Linköping is a perfect match and we will now continue to develop the hotel and restaurant. However, one thing can be safe with the guests. Their beloved burger at Beer & Burger remains, says the hotel’s new hotel director Helen Holgersson.
