ICELANDAIR STOCKS ON THE RISE. Icelandair Group share price have risen after the opening markets this morning by nearly 8 percent.
The increase can be tributed to the quarterly results posted yesterday.
Icelandair Group’s total revenue did increased by 5 percent between years to USD 222.4 million.
Hotel division
Hotel division is doing extreamly well as they doubled their income between years. It was $ 10.4 million this year, compared to $ 5.4 million in the first quarter of 2016.
Also passengers in international flights did increase by 14 percent, where the highest increase in transatlantic flights or 40 percent.
