Now VANA spa and gym have opened at Elite Palace Hotel in Stockholm. Here, members, hotel guests and anyone who works or lives in the area can work out, eat something healthy and relax with a bath, sauna and treatments.
VANA is located on the lower floor of the hotel which, when the house was built in 1958, was a luxury showroom for Mercedes Benz. The architect Per Öberg was based on the story when he designed the interior.
– We have taken inspiration for the more active and social parts of the original building’s mid-century modern style, while the recreational part was inspired by spa hotels such as “The Swim Club” in Palm Springs, California, says Per Öberg.
At a total of 1,500 square meters, both the fitness department is equipped with cardio and gym machines, free weights and other equipment as well as the possibility of personal training as well as a large spa department. After a swim in the pool or Jacuzzi, guests can relax in beautifully upholstered furniture in front of an open fire – or continue with a visit to the aroma room, Finnish sauna and steam room, and take a treatment performed according to Kerstin Florian’s spa concept. Adjacent to the treatment rooms is also a completely quiet rest room with fireplace.
Opening hours are weekdays at 6: 30-21: 30 and weekends 9: 00-19: 00.
VANA at Elite Palace in Stockholm is the first of four exclusive spa and fitness facilities that Elite Hotels now builds around the country. Next in turn stands Södertälje and then follows Karlstad and Skellefteå.
