On Monday the 18th of June, media is invited to witness the first flights by an electric aircraft in Norway. Avinor’s CEO Dag Falk-Petersen will be the pilot on one of the flights.Norway’s Minister of Transport and Communications Ketil Solvik-Olsen will also join one of the flights as passenger.

Avinor is pleased to invite you to the event, which will take place at Oslo airport.

In addition to witnessing the maiden voyage, there will be an opportunity to take a closer look at the aircraft, a two-seater Alpha Electro G2 supplied by one of Europe’s largest aircraft manufacturers, Pipistrel in Slovenia.

Information will also be provided on future opportunities for the electrification of aviation.

Attendance:

Oslo Airport, 18 June at 1.30 p.m.
Shuttle bus to the hangar from the bus stops at the arrival level.
The event is expected to last for a couple of hours.
